Records Storage

Storage Containers:

We furnish to our storage customers Record Center size boxes free of charge. These are available in lots of 25 each and debited to your account when delivered. When you fill them and return them to storage a deposit charge will be credited with the exception of a $10.00 handling fee per bundle.

The above rates are based on $.16 per cu ft. All other size boxes are based on $.30 per cu ft. Security Archives, Inc. has a $10.00 monthly minimum storage fee.

Fax
Services

Security Archives can retrieve and fax a particular document from a file contained in your storage box. Please note that Retrieval and Refile rates apply in addition to Fax rates.

Local Fax	$2 1st page + 50¢ ea add’l

Long Distance Fax	$3 1st page + 50¢ ea add’l

Insurance Options

Security Archives insures each box or container in our possession or facility up to $2.00 each. Magnetic Media is insured up to one (1) time the monthly storage rate.
Please insure your offsite records accordingly.

Retrieval / re-file & catalog rates

Our normal service is “Next Day”. All orders placed before 5:00pm are guaranteed next day. Our “Same Day” service guarantees delivery before 5:00pm if called in before 12:00pm (noon). If called in after noon, it guarantees delivery before noon the following business day. Our “One Hour” service provides for delivery 1 hour after order is placed. When a box initially comes to our facility for storage, it must be cataloged and the following will be entered into our computer tracking system. The box number, the date it came in, destruction date and storage price. A computerized listing will be mailed to you confirming this data.

Storage Boxes

We supply Free to our clients, Record Center size boxes. These boxes measure 10"H x 12"W x 15"D, and are a very sturdy 200 lb test weight. For each bundle of 25 boxes ordered, a $65 debit will be placed on your account. This amount includes a handling fee; however, the boxes are delivered at no additional cost. Your account will be credited $2.00 per box, upon their return to us for storage.

Though we store various size boxes, we find that the Record Center size boxes are much more convenient to handle than other sizes. Even when full, these boxes maintain their durability, and can be lifted easily. When legal or letter size boxes are full, they can weigh in excess of 75 lbs each, and often buckle and burst.
